I came across Pretty Much Amazing (PMA) one day when I was browsing for cover songs, I admit, I am a cover junkie. I browsed around and liked what I heard. PMA is a music blog that has introduced me to a lot of new, really good music. Best part of all, they have an entire category for covers. You can download the songs you hear and like right from their website so you don’t have to go searching all over for them. Pretty much amazing indeed.
I heard about Swaptree quite a few times on various television shows and around the net. I tried it out and I think it’s simply fantastic. If you’re not familiar with the concept, at Swaptree you list the things you have and don’t want any more as well as the things you want. Swaptree does the hard part far you and finds matches for you. You trade the stuff you don’t want any longer for something you do want, books, CD’s, music and games can be swapped. The only downside to it is having your address given out to strangers but I solved that quickly by not using my own address. I suppose a P.O. box would have worked just as well. Swaptree is a pretty simple and cheap way to get the things you want while getting rid of the things you don’t.
I haven’t read my RSS feed subscriptions in about a month. Moving was like having a hurricane blow through a landlocked state. Just getting back into the swing of things and I can’t wait to catch up.

SWAPTREE is the coolest new site on the web.
Come on…FREE STUFF? How great is that?
