I just want to share some updates on a few things that I’ve gotten questions about such as my car. I’ve had a few people ask me if I ever got it fixed after I was rear-ended in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The true and honest answer is no. The dent actually popped out and there are just scratches across that side now. Photos below ^.^

I found out about this website a little while ago and have become completely enamored with it. It’s fun and challenging. The basic object of the game is to build a ‘contraption’ to get the red ball to the goal. Along the way you will encounter obstacles and other challenges including gravity. The website is Fantastic Contraption

I know all the engineers out there will have a fun time with this one. I could only make it through a few levels without sneaking a peak at some of the other designs that people had come up with. Here is one of my favorites. I like to call it The Windmill. Enjoy and have fun.

Alright, let me first start by saying I LOVE my iPhone. However, there are quite a few fetaures lacking from it. My biggest iPhone pet-peeve right now is the lack of Multimedia Messaging Support (MMS). I don’t understand why this feature is so difficult to incorporate into the iPhone. It is old technology, my cell phone from about five years ago supports MMS.

2008 has come and gone and now that we are well into the new year I think it’s time for me to recap some of my favorites from the year.

Favorite Movie: This is going to be super cliche but The Dark Knight. I saw a lot of great movies but Health Ledger’s performance was absolutely superb in this one and I loved his character. He was just so darn clever.

Favorite Album: I think I bought one album throughout the entire year. Nope, make that two. Neither of which I’d actually call a favorite. So you’ll just have to settle for my favorite song: Hinder – Without You.

Favorite Book: The books I read throughout the year had quite a theme. My favorite this year was Undead and Unworthy.

Favorite Lesson Learned: Parking lots can be more dangerous than the streets or highways.

Favorite Photo: Just something I took for a contest I was entering.

Las Vegas Sunset

Favorite moment: The day was April 17th. The time was around 9 p.m.

Your turn! Tell me your favorites of 2008.

WARNING! I’m in craft mode. I’ve been making all kinds of nifty things for the last few days including a back drop, lightboxes, and this nifty little journal. I used heavy-duty drawing paper and coffee stained each of the pages by hand then tore the edges. The thing looks fantastic. I just need to bind it and I’m done (I’ve never binded a book by hand before so I could potentially screw up the whole entire thing).

So I’m sitting on the floor looking at this lil book and I see all of these un-used and under-estimated black felt scraps sitting to the side of me. I started playing around with them and I created this lovely little swirly scene. Too bad this stuff can’t stay that way.

It was fun trying to fit all of these little pieces together and see how they all work. I think I’m actually going to draw on the front of the journal (probably some swirlies like this) and I also might bleach parts of it to give the outside the same aged look that the inside pages have.
