I don’t watch too much TV. I usually have a few select shows that I am loyal too. That is until the show gets canceled unexpectedly due to poor budgeting and lack of proper advertising. Those are sad days but life goes on and I replace it with a somewhat decent but not quite as entertaining replica of the former show I once loved.
A new year means all new shows and all new seasons. It also means plenty of time for me, my couch and my favorite brand of popcorn to be reaquainted.
Lost
I remember my favorite morning DJ’s always talking about this show when it first aired on ABC. Late in 2008 I rented the first three seasons from the library and I’ve been hooked ever since. I love creepy dramas like this one. It always leaves me thinking, “What could possibly happen next?” I am going to be sure to catch every new episode.
Big Love
Ah, the uber secret world of Polygamy. In case you don’t know, Big Love is a show on HBO about polygamy. Genius! I’m not quite sure how accurate it actually is to real world polygamy (I assume not much)but they needed to make it entertaining and they did just that.
Nip/Tuck
This return has been LONG awaited. The teasers are so alluring. This show was so mild when it first started but has since grown into this mega-drama that gets pretty wild at times. I love the characters on Nip/Tuck more than any completely normal person should.
Family Guy
It has only been about a month or two since I last saw a new episode of Family Guy but this is just one of those shows that I adore. It ends my week on a very happy note. I really just want to see the next epi in the Star Wars saga.

Oh I friggin’ love BIG LOVE!!! …oh and Family Guy too. We got rid of HBO so I haven’t been able to watch Big Love in a while. I plan to buy the seasons to stay in the loop. It’s such an original show.
i have to admit… never once watched Lost. the others? love ‘em. great choices and definite season finale/premier must-watch shows.
