Garrett and I went to Disneyland a little couple of weeks ago. I know I’m late with sharing but better late than never. Garrett had never been to Disneyland before. We had such a great time.

I have been to Disneyland about 3 times that I can remember. Every time has usually been a really quick one day trip that never seemed long long enough to explore all of the makings of Disney. I’m so glad this time that we got to spend 3 full days in Disney alone. We even spent one day exploring Los Angelos and going to my new favorite place to shop, The LA Fashion District. Check out some of my disneyland pictures.

This Disneyland trip I finally got to ride all the rides, explore all the little shops and eat at all the best restaurants (still waiting on my Club 33 invite though). I can’t believe I had never even gone on the Toy Story Midway Mania ride where I beat Garrett by 100 points for this trips all time high. We had Blue Bayou for dinner the first night, it was delicious. I finally rode the Ariel Undersea Adventure ride, it is one of my favorite Disney movies. I loved it so much I just had to ride it twice. We even got to see the Aladdin Musical which was so nice.

All I can say is if you don’t go to Disneyland very often, don’t rush. Take your time and see everything, explore all of the hidden Disneyland secrets and ride everything, yes, even the kid rides. It is so worth it and I can’t wait to go back again when cars opens up this Summer!

Found a fantastic deal going on today and tomorrow. Visit Plum District for $20 worth of ribbon, fabrics and crafting supplies for only $12. You can purchase up to two for yourself and two additional as gifts so be sure to stock up. I think I’ll be picking up a few shabby chic flowers with my voucher.

Is it just me or does it seem like it was just Christmas? Truth be told, I finished this December Daily Scrapbook a few weeks ago but I’ve been too busy to tell you all about it. I’m finally settling into the new year and getting some serious work done. So here it is, my December Daily.

The paper collection is from Teresa Collins and it is called Christmas Home. I still have quite a few scraps left that I think would be perfect for some crafts or maybe cards next year.

Making a masculine card by hand is difficult. I have had a seriously difficult time with it. Here is a fathers day card that I think has some potential. It is a handmade and sewn greeting card that looks like a pair of jeans. Genius! I made this last fathers day. The card is full of custom stitching and I even created the graphic for the tag.

The pocket was fun and I even thought of making it an open pocket and sticking a $20 in there. It would be a fantastic card for holding gift cards.

Hopefully this gives you some inspiration for some masculine cards.

You know why I like birthdays, weddings and baby showers more than Christmas? A smaller quantity of gifts means I can put more creativity and effort into the gift wrapping and decorating. Every year I see so many lovely Christmas presents done up all fancy with bows and tags but who really has time to do that on every present? I choose a select few to wrap nice and by the end I get far too lazy and end up doing it the easy way. But with birthdays, I usually only have one or two gifts so I go crazy!

These were all kind of a rush job but I absolutely love the way they came out. There is a gift tag, a wine tag and a card that I made all to mach with the same papers, ribbons and colors. Of course, I had to wrap the present in newspaper but I choose pink newspaper to match the tag. The newspaper came pink one day so I saved it, well actually I hoarded it, this is the first time I used it in over a year. It matched so perfectly.
